[Assk] plein air in Kutztown/NAEA

Hi,

I have been meeting the Kutztown Borough mayor, Sandy Green, about a Plein Air Event for 
next spring.  Because 
attendance has been low at the Art in the Park event the past 2 years, we needed a change of 
pace--so Plein air 
was suggested.  In a nutshell, the event will be 3 days--April 27 (reception and artist sign-in 
at Eckhaus), April 28 
(artists paint plein air style and there will be a CHILDREN/HIGH SCHOOL event at the Park), 
April 29 (Display of all 
artwork made on Saturday and a brunch).  

I need help planning/facilitating the plein air event for CHILDREN/HIGH SCHOOL students, 
and I was hoping some 
Art Ed students and/or NAEA could help me out (this will be an excellent resume addition, 
not to mention the 
benefits of community involvement).

Please contact me by Friday October 20 if you are interested in working on this event--I 
could really use the help 
and we need to plan out the details (we are thinking of having younger kids do murals and 
older kids to plein air a 
the park).  Also, if you are a member of NAEA, could you please announce this to your 
members?
