Hello All,

Welcome Back to Kutztown.

Just a few quick reminders.

Art Club's First meeting is tomorrow at 11 am in the Sharadin Lobby.
- Remember it's a Monday Schedule so for those of you with conflicts on
Tuesdays here is your chance to get involved.

Because of potential conflicts due to the Monday/Tuesday swap,
Art Club will be having a second first meeting on Tuesday the 12th.
(Come to whichever fits your schedule best or both...)

Sonia Lee has a show up in the Bear's Den Gallery
(located in the Student Union's Coffee Shop) from now till the 15th.
There will be an opening event from 4:30-6:30 on Thursday Sept 7th.

Kutztown Faculty has a show in the Sharadin Art Gallery Sept 7th til
Oct 8th. The opening will be on Sept 7th from 4 to 6 pm.
Come out and support ( or critize ) your professors.

The Eckhaus is having an opening event this Friday (the 8th) 7-9 pm.
For those of you who don't know the Eckhaus is the red building
located down main street on the corner across the street from
Betty's. More info on the Eckhaus can be found at their website.

The first of the Dean's bus trips into New York is this Saturday the 9th.
Check in the Dean's Office for availability. Seats are  Only $15.
The DADA show at the MoMA comes down on the 11th, so this is a last
chance for anyone who hasn't already to see it or wants to see it again.

This semester, Art Club, Film Club, Anime Club and the Eckhaus are going
to be teaming up to show a wide variety of films and movies. The screening
list is not yet finalized and so if there is anything which you'd wish to be
screened or if you'd be interested in helping with the screenings e-mail me
(shenlon at hotmail.com) for more details.

Film Club is trying to set when their meetings will be to accommodate as 
many
interested people as possible... if interested in joining Film Club as well 
please
contact Thaddeus Pasierb (tpasi163 at kutztown.edu) for more details.

NAEA (National Art Education Association) will be holding their first 
meeting
on Tuesday Sept 11th in Old Main 123 at 5:00.

The Kutztown Rotary will be holding a Flatworks Show/ Sale on Oct 20-22.
If interested in participating, the deadline for registration is Tomorrow 
and
there is an entry fee of $15 for current students/ recent grads.

In other news, the MSU Movie Series starts this week. This week's movie
is the Di Vinci Code and Screenings are Thursday at 9pm, Saturday at 7pm,
and Sunday at 4 and 8pm in the Alumni Auditorium
(Downstairs in the student union.) For more information and consult the
posters hanging around the campus particularly in the Student Union.
