Fine Art at the Hamburg Field House!
 
A Fine Art exhibit will be held September 14-16, 2007 at the Union Fire
Company No. 1 Field House, Pine Street, Hamburg, PA. The exhibit will
feature 100+ original works.  Artists include Pablo Picasso, J. Alden
Weir, Alfred Thomas Bricher and many others. 
 
The event is a rare look at an important private collection .
 
In addition to the above, attendees will enjoy a painting attributed to
Albert Bierstad,  a still life by acclaimed black artist Lois Mailou
Jones, and works by Joan Miro, Charles Hargens, Karl Adam Heinisch,
George Luther Schelling and, even, "Pennsylvania Dutch" State II, by
John Terelak.  It is good and inspiring fun with a definite academic and
historical flavor.  
 
Styles represented in the collection include impressionism, cubism,
surrealism, portraiture and folk art.modern American Black Folk Art.
There are themes of marine culture, landscapes, religion, still life,
farm scenes and much more.  Something for everyone.  Kids under 12 Free.
 
Admission will be $5.00. Exhibit times: Friday 12-9 p.m., Saturday, 9-9
p.m. and Sunday 9-6 p.m. For additional information contact
