[Assk] The Closing/ Destruction Party (2/21)

Since the weather was poor and the classes closed today, I'm informing 
everyone that the Opening for Cat's Cradle, the show that Megan and myself 
have up in the Bear's Den, has been canceled for this evening.

Instead the event has been reformatted... and our show will have a 
Closing... kind of a last call for the show on next Wednesday (2/21) at 8pm.

Directly following the Closing... we will be removing the projector, cart 
and other tech from the space and then the Destruction will begin.

The whole thing is completely held together by tension... no pvc cement, no 
glue, and nothing attaching it to the walls or ceiling... People will be 
allowed to enter the space and play until it all comes tumbling down... 
because we all know that's why we can't have nice things. Everyone is 
welcomed to bring scissors, helmets and pads, or any other implements they 
feel so inspired to use in the Destruction. This will be recorded and the 
document of the Destruction will take the place of the piece for the 
remainder of the show time.

Somehow, members of the art community and friends destroying our show while 
video cameras roll seems apt.
