Greetings!
In our last meeting, I brought up a potential geeky-fun trip over spring break that could be a nice excursion for the club,
depending on how many of us are interesting in Japanese rock music. On Sunday, March 11, the Knitting Factory in NYC is
hosting a concert for the Japan Nite 2007 tour, featuring such acts as the rockabilly "hard marching band" Asakusa Jinta, old-
school rock-and-roll trio The Emeralds, the ten-piece ska brass ensemble Pistol Valve, and more!
Info about the concert is provided here, including links to each band's homepage to satisfy your curiosity:

But wait, there's more! The homepage for the Knitting Factory includes directions in the About section.
According to the initial link, there are a total of six bands playing in the show, which is a pretty sweet deal for $10 in advance
tickets. This means, of course, that if you're at all interested in seeing this show and don't have too much else to do over
spring break, you'll have to send me a response sooner rather than later. Answers by the end of this weekend would be ideal so
as to provide some time to finalize the ticket orders, transportation (carpool, maybe, depending on the numbers), and other
happy little details that'll make this work.
Thanks in advance and have a grand weekend.
Peace,
Kate Santee (Treasurer/Loyal Freshman Lackey-Type)
