Hi all,

I am going to try sending this again because Mike said it was garbled the first time. This program (see attached) for recent KU graduates is a great opportunity to live and work abroad. 2005 sculpture major Katie Zazenski did it for a year, and through the contacts she made in Hong Kong, she was able to work in some of Hong Kong's galleries and to arrange a multi-month residency at a marble sculpting studio in Italy.

If you are interested, please feel free to contact me or Dr. Stewart who oversees the program for KU. I can put you in touch with Katie as well.

Christine

Dear Faculty Colleagues,

Shue Yan University (www.hksyu.edu) in Hong Kong and Yantai University (www.ytu.edu.cn) in China have both recently contacted me about continuing to have English teaching interns from KU work at their universities. We currently have one intern at each institution. These are paid internships which will last for the entire 2007-08 academic year. Both universities provide housing as part of the contract.

Minimum requirements for the position include--

1. Completed bachelor's degree (any major) as of the Summer of 2007

2. Evidence of ability to live and work abroad

3. U.S. Citizenship and possession of a valid passport

4. Successful interview (with me at KU)

Interested candidates may contact me directly for more information at tstewart at kutztown.edu. To apply, candidates should submit a cover letter and resume to me electronically no later than April 11th. Thanks for your help.

Sincerely,

Tom Stewart
