[Assk] Teaching Opportunities Available through the Eckhaus

The following teaching volunteer opportunities will be available through the Eckhaus in the near future.



 


Digital Slides Presentation + Workshop


November 19th and 20th


Student Ages: High School/ College/ Adult


Primary Instructor: Mike Schneider


Assisting Instructors: (Skilled Photographers Only)


Camera Use : Cannon Rebel XTI


Black Fabric and Studio Lights


Presentation: Evening of Nov 19th explaining how
to shoot professional digital slides of work. Free to Attend.


Assisted Shooting: Sign-Up Sheet. (1-5 images = $5, 6-10
images = $10…)

Black Friday Workshop:

Cards + Tar Paper T-Shirt Transfers


Materials Provided (Shirts Brought by Students)


Assisting Gallery Staff (Meeting Prior to Workshop Based Around
Your Schedule)

Summer Art Camps:




1 Week Duration


4 Hour Sets


No Lunch Break (Snack Optional)


2D Primarily with Limited 3D


Materials and Instructional Resources Provided


Ideal Staffing: 4 Volunteer Teachers + Gallery Staff


 


July 14th -18th


Students Ages 8-12


9am – 1pm


 


July 21st – 25th  


Students Ages 13-16


9am – 1pm


 


No proposal  needed.

Workshop:  a workshop presenting

not be covered in the general Art Camp or art classes


 


This includes but is not limited to
Adult Workshops, 


workshops involving specific
technologies, workshops 


involving special interest content/
techniques, or workshops 


which require prior skills/
knowledge.


 


If you wish to teach a specialty workshop the procedure is
as follows:




     Submit Proposal
to shenlon at hotmail.com by Nov 1st.


     Proposal must
include the following:

Duration of Workshop (How many days? How many hours
each day?)

Age
 Range of Students


-         
1 paragraph overview of workshop.


-         
1 page breakdown of workshop procedure.


-         
Materials List for Workshop (Including Costs)


-         
List of Possible Dates to Teach Workshop
