Hey guys, 

Before I say anything I would like to say that I am very, very sorry for how the way things happened. We're going to have to 
drop out of the DC trip - that means it's cancelled. We have to for a number of reasons - we're short on money in our account 
and since no one wants to drive, we're not going to be able to rent vans. Plus, I have to give the money i wrote for the check 
back to pay for Hasan Elahi's visit. I wasn't aware we did not have the money to pay him, and for that I'm very sorry. 

I tried my best to plan a trip for everyone to enjoy, but sometimes things don't work out as they should. I'm very sorry for 
inconviencing anyone who took off from work. Believe me, I had requested off too, so I know how you feel. 

We're going to have to have a bake sale or something to raise the money back. We'll talk about that next art club.

Also since we don't have enough money in the account I did not get reimbursed for taking a few of us out to lunch with Hasan 
Elahi. I don't think I'm asking for much when I ask can those who I paid for their lunch that day reimburse me $15 each(the VP 
and treasurer helped me figure out this sum so I'm not just making it up)? I need it from the following people - Drew, Kate, 
Jessie, and Mike (sorry, you don't get a boyfriend discount :P). Please get it to me soon, thanks. 

Any more news I will keep everyone posted on. Sorry again. :(
