Elfren Quiles named to AP Little All-America Team

KUTZTOWN, PA – Kutztown University wide receiver Elfren Quiles (sr. New Britain, Conn./New Britain) has been named to the Associate Press Little All-America third team.

	Quiles led the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference and was second in Division II with 118.7 yards per game. He finished the season with a school record 1,187 yards and eight touchdowns on 64 receptions, which were the fourth most in school history. He had a career game against Bloomsburg with 308 yards receiving.  

	Quiles has been selected to play in the Cactus Bowl – a Division II all-star game, in January.  He already participated in the East Coast Bowl – a Mid-Atlantic All-Star game, in November.  Quiles was also a regional finalist for the Harlon Hill Trophy.

	The All-America honor is the second in Quiles’ career.  He was also a third-team selection as a freshman while at Merrimack.  He transferred to Kutztown prior to the 2006 season and amassed 2,003 receiving yards in two seasons – fourth on KU’s career list.  His 43 career TD catches (9th), 4,136 receiving yards (11th) and 252 receptions (13th) all rank among the all-time Division II career leaders.

	Kutztown was 5-6 overall, 2-3 in the PSAC East this season.
