EDWARDS NAMED ROOKIE OF THE WEEK 

KUTZTOWN, PA - Kutztown University's Nate Edwards (Philadelphia/North Catholic) has been named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division Rookie of the Week for men's basketball. 

            Edwards averaged 10.0 points per game, connecting on three three-pointers, in a 3-0 week for the Golden Bears.  He scored a team high 13 points in a 55-53 win over the University of the Sciences.  He had two perfect games from the free throw line and missed only one in the third to go 9-for-10.  He notched 11 steals and seven rebounds.

The Golden Bears will return to action on Wednesday when they travel to the Columbia Union.  Tip-off is set for 8:00 PM
