HOFFMAN NAMED WOMENS CROSS COUNTRY COACH OF THE YEAR

 

KUTZTOWN, PA - Kutztown University's women's cross country head coach Ray Hoffman was named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Coach of the Year.

 

            Hoffman had four runners earn earned All-Conference and All-Region honors this season.  The team finished second at the PSAC Championships and brought home its first-ever East Regional Title.  The team traveled to Pensacola, FL for the NCAA Championships and finished a best-ever 14th of 24 teams.

            This is the second time Hoffman has been named the PSAC Women's Coach of the Year.  His first honor was in 2000.  The ninth-year head coach was also named East Region Women's Coach of the Year by the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) last month.
