TWO GOLDEN BEARS RECEIVE PSAC HONORS 

KUTZTOWN, PA - Kutztown University's Stephen Dennis (West Chester/Henderson) and Lara Dellegrotti (so. Berwick/Berwick) received Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) basketball honors.

            Dennis received his second PSAC Men's Rookie of the Week for the eastern division.  He tied for a team-high 26 points in the lone game this week against Columbia Union.  He went 9-for-10 from the free throw line.  Dennis also had four assists and three blocks. 

Dellegrotti was named the PSAC East Women's Player of the Week.  She averaged 13.5 points in the Golden Bears two wins.  Dellegrotti shot 47.1% from the field and hit six shots from behind the arc.  She led with team with 16 points over Columbia Union.  In the win over Lincoln, Dellegrotti pulled in a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds.  

The Golden Bears will return to action on December 19 when they travel to Slippery Rock.
