SWIMMING WORLD MAGAZINE FEATURES KU-ROWAN SWIM MEET

KUTZTOWN, PA - Swimming World Magazine features the upcoming Kutztown-Rowan swim meet in its Meet of the Week preview on swimmingworldmagazine.com.  

           Rowan swept Montclair State in its last meet.  Kutztown was swept by Shippensburg.  This is KU's last meet before the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships. 

In side-by-side time comparisons, distance swimmer Greg Fournier has three times faster than Rowan, including 45 seconds faster in the 1650 yard free.  Ashley Singer has five times faster than Rowan swimmers, ranging from the 100 free to the 1650 free and the 100 fly.  Steph Jeppesen is the fast swimmer in the breaststroke events. 

Rowan, whose men are ranked fifth and women are ranked 11th in Division III according to collegeswimming.com, will travel to Kutztown on Saturday, February 3.  The meet is set to start at 1:00 PM at Keystone Pool.
