KUTZTOWN UNIVERSITY WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY NAMED DIVISION II ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM
KUTZTOWN, PA - The Kutztown University Women's Cross Country has been named a Division II All-Academic Team for the 2006 cross country season by the U. S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association. 

For schools to qualify, the student-athletes must have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher.  The Golden Bears finished the 2006 fall semester with a 3.14 GPA. 

Kutztown placed second at the PSAC Championships and first at the NCAA East Regionals this past season. At the NCAA Championships, the team recorded its best-ever finish of 14th.   

This is the ninth-consecutive year the cross country team has received this honor.
