KUTZTOWN'S JEPPESON NAMED PSAC WOMEN'S SWIMMER OF THE WEEK

 

KUTZTOWN, PA - Kutztown University's Steph Jeppeson (fr. Bethlehem/Liberty) has been named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Women's Swimmer of the Week.

 

            Jeppeson set the Kutztown pool record in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:26.96 en route to claiming three individual honors and a relay win.  The freshman also won the 100 breast (1:08.76), the 200 IM (2:15.03) and the 200 medley relay for the Golden Bears against Rowan on Saturday.

 

            Jeppeson and the Golden Bears finished the regular season with the meet vs. Rowan.  The squad now prepares for the PSAC Championships, February 21-24 in Mechanicsburg, PA.
