As well as being the MVP for the Golden Bears, Belfatti was named NFHCA second-team All-America and All-PSAC first team mid-fielder. Rohini Das (fr. Kolkata, INDIA) of the women's tennis team is the recipient from head coach Suresh Ramamurthi. Das, who was a newcomer to Kutztown, joined the team for the spring semester. She was a perfect 6-0 in singles, including a 5-0 mark at second seed. She also was 4-2 in doubles.
Men's basketball's Terrance Davis (sr. Philadelphia/Scotland School) was picked by head coach Bernie Driscoll. Davis averaged 23 minutes per game and shot just over 44 percent from the field. "Terrance overcame many obstacles to be named captain and starter for the 2006-07 season," Driscoll said. "He was an excellent leader of a young team."
Football's Mike Grosso (sr. Hackettstown, NJ/Pope John) received the coaches' award from the football staff. Grosso overcame injury to become a three-year starter. This past season he was a team captain for the Golden Bears and received All-PSAC East honors. Grosso recorded 70 tackles this past season, 36 of which were solo.
Women's basketball's Katie Harlor (sr. Danville/Danville) was selected by head coach Janet Malouf. Harlor shot with consistency from the field knocking down just under 40 percent of her field goals, including seven three pointers. "Katie's dedication and commitment to the women's basketball team as well as improvement in her skills earned her this award," Malouf said.
Men's track and field's Tony Hegedus (sr. Coopersburg/Southern Lehigh) was recognized by head coach Ray Hoffman for his outstanding team work. "Tony stepped into the role as a team leader this year," Hoffman said. "Even though he red shirted this outdoor season he was still able to help his fellow teammates with his expertise in the hurdles."
