BAQUERIZO NAMED PSAC MEN'S TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK

 

KUTZTOWN, PA - Kutztown University's Santiago Baquerizo (so. Guayaquil, ECUADOR) has been named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Men's Tennis Player of the Week.

 

            Heading into Tuesday's match with Philadelphia University, Baquerizo had started the season with a 4-1 record at No. 1 singles, helping Kutztown to wins in three of its five matches.  He also is a part of Kutztown's lone undefeated doubles team, as he and teammate Lukas Labitsch have paired up to reach a 5-0 mark. 

 

            With Tuesday's win over Philadelphia University, KU improved to 4-2 on the season.  The Golden Bears next travel to West Chester to open PSAC play on Thursday at 3:30 PM.
