 HORSTMANN NAMED PSAC WOMEN'S RUNNER OF THE WEEK 

KUTZTOWN, Pa. - Joanna Horstmann (jr. Downingtown/Downingtown West) was
named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Women's Runner of the Week
after her second-place finish Saturday at the Lafayette Invitational.

Horstmann, who also was named a PSAC Runner of the Week on Oct. 2, led the
Golden Bears to a third-place finish at the Lafayette Invitational with a
time of 20:52 in the 6K race. The race included nine Division I teams and
122 runners. KU finished with 77 points, behind Maryland (68) and Bucknell
(75).

Horstmann, an All-PSAC runner in 2006, has finished in the top 10 in three
out of five races this season.
