KINNEY NAMED PSAC EAST PLAYER OF THE WEEK

 

KUTZTOWN, PA - Kutztown University's Austin Kinney (jr.
Landisville/Hempfield HS) has been named the Pennsylvania State Athletic
Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division Volleyball Player of the Week.

 

            Kinney, a setter, tallied 199 assists and 78 digs in Kutztown's
four matches, including 58 assists and 18 digs in a 3-2 come-from-behind
victory over West Chester.  With her totals, the junior became Kutztown's
career leader in assists with 3, 188. 

 

            Through 32 matches this season, Kinney has played in 82 games.
She has 949 assists (11.6/game) and 295 digs (3.6).  KU is 25-7 overall and
7-1 in the PSAC East.  KU returns to action on Saturday against
non-conference foe New York Tech.
