KU VOLLEYBALL RANKED NO. 4 IN REGION 

KUTZTOWN, Pa. - The Kutztown University women's volleyball team advanced
from No. 6 to No. 4 in the Atlantic Region of the Oct. 24 Division II poll.

KU (25-7, 7-1 PSAC East) is 4-2 in its last six contests, with both losses
coming to the region's No. 2 and 3 teams, Edinboro and Clarion. KU took
Edinboro to a fifth game before falling 3-2.

Also ranked in the top 10 behind KU is Lock Haven, Shippensburg, West
Chester, Slippery Rock, Lees-McCrae and Millersville.

The Golden Bears will host New York Tech in a non-conference contest at 11
a.m. Saturday before taking on Shippensburg at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Keystone
Hall.  KU wraps up the regular season at East Stroudsburg next Thursday.
Kutztown has already qualified for the PSAC Championships, Nov. 9-10, hosted
by the PSAC East's top seed.

Lindsay Confer (fr. Wingate/Bald Eagle) and Erin Waters (sr. Waymart/Western
Wayne) lead the team in kills with 341 and 337, respectively.

Nicole Biuso (sr. Centereach, N.Y./Ward Melville) lead the team in digs with
740, and Austin Kinney (jr. Landisville/Hempfield) has a team-high 949
assists.
