KELLEY HEALEY NAMED PSAC FIELD HOCKEY PLAYER OF THE WEEK

 

KUTZTOWN, PA - Kutztown University's Kelley Healey (jr. Toms River, NJ/Toms
River North), of the field hockey team, has been named the Pennsylvania
State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Player of the Week.

 

            Healy was instrumental in Kutztown's 4-0 week, totaling five
goals and five assists.  She played a role each of Kutztown's scores in a
5-1 win against Catawba, netting a goal and tying a school record with four
assists.  In addition, she spearheaded a 3-1 come-from-behind win against
No. 2 Shippensburg by scoring the game-tying and game-winning goals in the
game's final minutes. 

 

            Kutztown is now 6-0 on the season.  The Golden Bears host
Millersville on Tuesday at 7:00 PM at University Field.
