HUGHES WINS PSAC FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
KUTZTOWN, Pa. -Michelle Hughes (Sr, Warminster/William Tennent) of the Kutztown University women's indoor track and field team, was named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Field Athlete of the Week after her performance at the Susquehanna Invitational last weekend.
At Susquehanna, Hughes placed third in the shot put with a distance of 37-11.25, and came in second in the weight throw with a season-best mark of 48-1.75. Her distance in the weight throw ranks among the top throws in the conference.
Hughes and the KU indoor track and field team will be back in action on Feb. 23 at Princeton University.
