KU Women's Cross Country Honored by USTFCCCA
KUTZTOWN, PA - The Kutztown University Women's Cross Country team has been named a Division II All-Academic Team for the 2007 season by the U. S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
For schools to qualify, the student-athletes must have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher.  The Golden Bears finished the 2006 fall semester with a 3.49 GPA, which was the 29th highest out of the 99 women's teams honored.
Kutztown, under head coach Ray Hoffman, placed fifth at the PSAC Championships and third at the NCAA East Regionals this past season.
This is the 10th-consecutive year the cross country team has received this honor.
