KUTZTOWN, Pa-- Kutztown University baseball player Darin Gorski (Mt. Joy/Donegal) has been named PSAC East pitcher of the week for his efforts this past week.

The sophomore posted a 2-0 record with a 1.20 ERA in his two starts on the week. In a complete game victory over PSAC conference opponent Cal., he fanned 10 batters. In his second start of the week against West Liberty State, he struck out eight batters while allowing only three hits.

Gorski and the rest of the KU Golden Bears (7-9, 0-0 PSAC East) open up their 2008 home schedule this Friday at 2:30 against Wilmington (DE) from North Campus Field.
