         Bruce Hall, of the men's basketball team, is this week's KU Student Bookstore Athlete of the Week. Hall led the men's basketball team in scoring against Columbia Union with 24 points and against Penn State-Hazleton with 25.

       WED 12/7 - KUTZTOWN 94, COLUMBIA UNION 81- Bruce Hall (sr. Cheltenham/Cheltenham) led five players who scored in double figures as Kutztown defeated Columbia Union, 94-81. Hall scored 24 points on 8-of-13 field goals.  Ben Arnold (sr. Philadelphia/Christian Academy) scored a career-high 22 points, hitting 9-of-11 shots.  Frank Moultrie (sr. Southampton/William Tennent) and Maurice Bryant (jr. Coatesville/Coatesville) scored 14 points each, while David Ben (r-fr. Coatesville/Coatesville) added 12.  Ben led KU with eight rebounds. Kutztown was hot from the field in both halves.  The Bears hit 57% of its first-half shots (17-of-30) and 58% in the second half (14-24).  KU also connected on 24-of-29 free throws (83%). 

SAT 12/10 - Kutztown 89, Penn State-Hazleton 84 -Hall scored 25 points to lead Kutztown to an 89-84 win over Penn State-Hazleton. Four other players scored in double figures for KU.  Bryant had 16 points, while Arnold had 15, Ben scored 11 and Moultrie scored 10.  Dorian Sims (jr. Reading/Central Catholic) had eight rebounds.

WED 12/7 - KUTZTOWN 84, COLUMBIA UNION 56 - Kutztown beat Columbia Union, 80-56. Jess Brady (jr. Emmaus/Emmaus) led Kutztown in scoring with 20. Trish Dudeck (sr. Shamokin/Shamokin) notched 13 while Lisi Reyna (so. Burlington Twp., NJ/Burlingtown Twp.) added 10. Monique Boykins (sr. Yeadon/Penn Wood) led the team with 10 rebounds with Dudeck pulling in nine. 

SAT 12/10 - KUTZTOWN 79, LINCOLN 53 -Boykins scored 12 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lead Kutztown to a 79-53 win over Lincoln. Boykins was 6-of-10 from the field.  Rachel Weidensaul (so. Ashland/Cardinal Brennan) connected on 4-of-5 shots for 10 points.  The rest of KU's 79 points was spread between 12 other players, as KU was in control early on in the contest.
